Miri Piri
The practice hall at Miri Piri: a timber roof, a solid oak floor and tall windows onto the meadows

Retreat venue · Northern Italy · One hour from Milan

Bring your group to a house that is entirely yours

Miri Piri is a seminar house in the hills of Piacenza: an old farming hamlet restored with natural materials, on 13 hectares of woods and meadows, with a 130 m² practice hall and a kitchen that cooks for your group alone. One group at a time, always.

For teachers who travel with their groups

You bring the teaching. The place carries the rest.

Taking a group abroad means answering for everything around the practice: how people get there, what they eat, where they sleep, whether the room can hold the work. Miri Piri exists only to host retreats and seminars, and while you are here, all of it belongs to your group.

One group at a time

The whole place, reserved for your group

When you book, the practice hall, the house, the kitchen and the thirteen hectares around them are yours. No other guests, no shared dining room: your group stays a group from the first evening to the last morning.

It matters most for silent retreats and teacher trainings, where every outside interruption costs something.

The hall

130 m² built for practice

A solid oak floor, a timber roof and tall windows onto the woods. Natural light through the day, careful acoustics and cooling in summer.

Yoga, meditation, movement, bodywork and classroom teaching all work here, and the hall is yours for the whole stay.

Food your participants will talk about

Our cooks prepare vegetarian or vegan meals every day, as you prefer, with homemade bread and cakes and water from the spring on the property. Tell us about your group’s dietary needs and we will take them into account.

It is one of the things guests remember longest.

The setting

Silence you don’t have to ask for

Miri Piri sits at 450 metres, in the protected area of Monte Pillerone: woods, meadows and footpaths all around, and no traffic.

The house itself was restored with natural materials: stone, wood, seasoned lime, raw earth and cork.

Getting here

Bringing your group from abroad

Milan is the gateway: three airports with flights from across Europe, and a direct railway line south to Piacenza.

  • By air

Fly into Milan. Linate is the closest airport; Malpensa and Bergamo also work well.

  • By train

Piacenza, the nearest railway station, is on the main line from Milan.

  • By car

One hour from Milan. The last 500 metres are a gravel road through the woods, fine for any car. Parking on site, and an 11 kW charging point.

Arrivals are often the hardest part of a retreat abroad. Tell us where your participants are coming from, and we’ll help you plan how they get here.

For your participants, in their own language

Once your dates are confirmed, your participants receive a welcome page with what they need before they leave: how to get here, what to bring and how life at the house works. It is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Italian.

How booking works

From first email to your retreat, in three steps

  1. Tell us about your retreat

Your group, the kind of retreat, the dates you have in mind and roughly how many people.

  2. We check dates together

We tell you what’s available and talk through what your group needs.

  3. A proposal for your group

We send you a personal quote. Once you confirm, the dates are held for you exclusively.

Weekends fill up 6–12 months ahead. From Monday to Thursday there’s more choice, which suits week-long retreats and teacher trainings.
